These tenants had been harassed and can give their story. They had been given a months notice, and had arranged to leave after 4 weeks, 2 weeks before they were moving they received this --with the court saying 'The defendant pays the claimants (The Beddows) costs of £150.00
No5thing on the blog is anonymous or uses someone else's name. This post was by the Glyn Ward cllr who went to the Colwyn and County Court with sufficient evidence for the defendant NOT to pay the £150.00

i am a tennant of mr and mrs beddows. me and my girlfriend both under the age of twenty with our 3 month old daughter currently ocupy flat 3, 66 greenfield road. when we moved into this property from our tent, as we where homeless previously. we were extremely excited at the fact of getting our own property and in all our excitement failed to notice the lack of receipts for our 400 pound deposit and 100 pound weekly rent. at the begining of our tenancy silvia gouland who we had been told by the landlords was the agent for the building. all rent, complaints or much needed repairs where to go through her and her secretary sarah. me and my partner being new to the area thought nothing out of the ordinary and all was well, or so it seemed. 3 months into the tenancy sylvia gouland took a strong disliking to my partner and that was when things began to change. i as an adult tried to simply seperate the two thinking that as adults they could overcome any pety squablings and simply be civil which my partner tried to do, however sylvia thought different. she began to intimidate my partner. she would be standing at the front door of her rented property hoping to provoke my partner and for the first month of this i thought that my partner was simply making things sound worse than what they where until she began to do the same to myself. we would be coming back from shopping and as we entered the main door into the comunal hallway she would leep out from her doorway and the slander match would begin. this sort of harrassment continued for some weeks including sarah, sylvias accomplice. sarah began to stalk my partner making her feel uneasy and threatend. then on christmasday all the harassment appeared to have stopped. we thought sylvia had finally grown up as we still had to pay our rent to her so there was no way she could avoid seeing me atleast once a week. we thought all was well and began to once again settle into our home. then out of the blue we recieved a letter from our landlords stating that we had failed to pay 12 weeks of rent and as we had no receipts we were left in a very tricky possition. after expaining that we had paid our rent but where never given a receipt the landlords sounding somewhat releived continued to push for the repayment of 1100 pounds. when we asked for a re-evaluation of the rent they retaliated by sending us a notice of intention to reposes. due to all this my partner now wants to not only move from the flat but also the country which i have no doubt that sylvia will be braging about as that is the kind of person she is. we as yet have not left the property however it is no longer safe for my daughter and partner to stay at this adress due to numerous threats and intimidation techniques. this is what i have come to realize that sylvia gouland is.my advice to anyone who is looking for a property in colwyn bay is to keep a large distance from this tyrant and never be drawn into her tail of deceipt
